Ingredients
300 grams of walnut cloves, skinless, 300 grams of sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1/2 liter of water, 1/2 liter of milk.
Preparation
To remove the skin from the walnuts, they are blanched with boiling water until it is verified that they can be peeled easily.
Then they are passed through cold water so that they do not burn and the skin comes out easily.
Wrap the walnuts in a cloth and mash them with a wooden mallet until obtaining a fine paste.
Put the 1/2 liter of water and the cinnamon sticks in a saucepan. At the first boil, add the walnut paste and let it simmer until all the water is used up, add the milk and sugar and let it boil until it reaches the desired thickness.
While hot it can be distributed in individual clay pots, although it can also be presented in a single large pot. It is served cold, sprinkled with cinnamon powder.
