SICTED quality

The Route of the Castles and the Battles of Jaén is a tourist destination that, managed by a Product Club that brings together the main players in the territory, permanently works to improve the tourist quality of its offer. In this line of thought and regardless of other distinctions, in recent years work has been done on the adhesion of the destination to the SICTED project that, promoted by the Institute of Tourism of Spain (TURESPAÑA), seeks to improve the quality of destinations tourism, working with tourist companies / services of up to 32 different trades, with the ultimate goal of improving the tourist experience and satisfaction. It is a methodology that provides a comprehensive and permanent quality management system with a focus on continuous improvement, enabling a homogeneous level of quality in the services offered to tourists within the destination. As a result of the effort made, currently the Route of the Castles and the Battles of Jaén has 28 entities distinguished with the Tourism Quality Commitment (SICTED): five tourist information offices, eight accommodations, five restaurants, five tourist guide companies, two receptive travel agents, an alfar, a wine cellar and an event organizing company.
