Ingredients

500 gr of wheat flour, 2 dl. olive oil, 80 grams of almonds, 80 grams of pistachios, 80 grams of walnuts, 80 grams of pine nuts, ground cinnamon, lavender, 200 grams of orange blossom honey, 2 liters of oil (for frying), grated orange peel , 1 c / t of orange blossom water.

Preparation

We mix the flour, oil and water necessary to obtain an elastic dough. Once it has rested, we will stretch it with the roller as thin as possible and cut into strips of about 2 cm wide, which we will wrap around the cane until it is covered. Once rolled up, we will fry it in hot oil until golden brown. Let it cool a bit and remove the rod being careful not to break it.

For the filling, we toast the nuts and mash them in a mortar, except for the pine nuts that we will leave whole. We put the honey and spices. We mix and fill the joints. We cover with icing sugar.
