The San Amador Agricultural Cooperative was located in the urban center of Martos, which, for decades, has been the municipality with the largest cultivated area of olive trees in the world. San Amador was established in 1960, as a novel initiative for the small and medium olive grower in the region.
Information
From the traditional system of pressing the oil by means of baskets, made by hand in our own mill facilities, in 1994 we switched to the continuous two-phase ecological system, modernizing and improving, in every way, the process of obtaining virgin olive oil .
At present, the cooperative has 702 members and an olive grove area of 2,888.17 Ha., With an average production of thirteen million kilos of olives and three million kilos of oil. Since 2007, the Tuccioliva brand has also been packaged for marketing, an extra virgin very well valued by different tasting panels and highly awarded both in national and international competitions. The brand incorporates the Quality Certificate Certified by the Andalusian Regional Government's Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
