It was founded by San Juan de la Cruz when he was in Baeza, on October 12, 1586, placing it under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception, as we can see in the commemorative plaque on the facade. It is accessed through a doorway with a semi-circular arch flanked by pilasters. The set is finished off by a cornice that supports four pinnacles.
