Castillo de Canena promotes Oleotourism in the region (Jaén, Andalusia) with the aim of sharing the culture and knowledge of extra virgin olive oils.
We want to promote EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and the totally natural way in which it is produced.
Specifically, on our farm we can show how we take care of our olive trees throughout the year, what “precision agriculture” means and how we develop it in the olive grove in order to later obtain our internationally recognized premium extra virgin olive oils.
In addition, we want to show how we harvest with the best technology, how we make EVOOs in our own oil mill, and of course, finish the tour at our home, in the castle itself… It is quite an experience!

From Castillo de Canena we want to offer you from the hand of our family an exclusive, unique and 360-degree experience about the exciting world of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. From the olive plantations, the harvesting of the fruits, production and packaging to the marketing of our EVOOs. All this framed in an olive-growing tradition that dates back to 1780 and with the emblem of the Castillo de Canena, owned by our family and located a few kilometers from the cities of Úbeda and Baeza, both declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
