Siles Reservoir

The Siles Dam, whose construction was completed in 2015, receives its water from the Gualimar and Carrizas Rivers.
It is a reservoir that receives its water from the Guadalimar and Carrizas Rivers, being close to its headwaters and belonging to the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation.

The reservoir is located almost entirely in the municipality of Siles (Jaén), although it enters approximately 500 meters in the municipality of Villaverde de Guadalimar. It receives the name of Presa de Siles, as the dam is located in the municipality of the same name.

The reservoir has an extension of 213.00 ha, with a capacity to store 30 hm3 of water. The type of dam is Gravity Arch and was completed in 2015.
