Nacimiento del Guadalquivir

It is a set of karst springs, among which the one located in a vertical wall of a fluvial canyon excavated in Jurassic limestone stands out. The latter is what is historically considered the "Source of the Guadalquivir River." However, the river is fed by all the streams and springs that are located a little higher in the so-called "Cañada de las Fuentes".
