The most notable building in Hinojares is the parochial church of San Marcos, built at the end of the 17th century, which externally presents walls with few and small openings, either circular or rectangular, and a lateral access door devoid of any type of ornamentation.
It is completed by a bell tower, simulating a belfry, placed on the wall that joins the head with the rest of the body of the temple, closing the market that borders the only nave. Inside it is adapted to the shape of a Latin cross and has an altarpiece of Renaissance origin and a white marble baptismal font that its parishioners hold in high esteem.
