Cerrada de Elías

The fluvial incision of the Borosa River in the Cretaceous limestones of the Urgonian facies produces the strong embedding of the channel in this area, generating a narrow karst valley with vertical walls of more than 10 m in height and about 400 m in length.

This spectacular gorge known as the Cerrada de Elías can be traversed on a hanging walkway several meters above the river, which is suspended over the vertical walls of the Cerrada.
