Camino Mozárabe de Santiago

0, Alcalá la Real

The well-known Mozarabic Way was used by Christians who lived in the Arab Kingdoms to link with the Vía de la Plata to Santiago de Compostela, being one of the oldest routes on the Camino de Santiago. Alcalá serves as a meeting point for pilgrims coming from Granada, acting as the end of the stage and the beginning of the one that passes through the province of Jaén.

From Alcalá la Real you can enjoy two of the stages of this famous route. In the first place the stage Moclín - Alcalá la Real (21.8km) and Alcalá la Real - Alcaudete (23.7km).
