The Museum of the Culture of the Olive Tree is part of the "Hacienda La Laguna" Complex, located in Puente del Obispo, eight kilometers from Baeza. With an area of more than 4,000 square meters, it is the largest oil museum in Spain. It contains models of old oil mills in which the three fundamental processes of oil production are collected: grinding, pressing and decantation-storage

The museum, considered an Asset of Cultural Interest, is divided into several spaces; three buildings that house different models of oil mills, a garden with varieties of olive trees from various countries and the winery.

Throughout the itinerary of the visit, the steps to obtain the oil are shown, from the most traditional methods of growing the olive tree, to the modern marketing and packaging processes.

In the museum you can learn about the characteristics of olive oil, assess its properties and delve into the different aspects that define its quality, gradation, color, etc. You can also get to know the different varieties of olive trees physically, as it has a garden with trees of each variety, but it deserves special attention, a 19th century winery known as "La Catedral del Aceite". In addition, the complex has a conference room with capacity for 230 people. Oil tastings are carried out for groups, tastings and other activities related to the olive grove.
