Vandelvira is one of the most famous restaurants in Baeza, whose gastronomy is based on extra virgin olive oil. It is located in the old convent of San Francisco, from the 16th century, occupying the cloister (ideal for weddings, celebrations and meetings) and the upper floor of this (where the dining room is located).

The truth is that when you enter the building it gives the feeling of desolation, of being closed and that there is no restaurant in this old convent. To access the dining room, you have to climb the solemn staircase at the end of the cloister. Everything is decorated with 16th century antiques (furniture, paintings, lamps, etc.).

The restaurant is managed by the Catering Delicias at the Hotel Palacio de los Salcedo. Its gastronomy is haute cuisine, in which the main protagonists are the products of the land with careful preparation, and of course, olive oil.

Delights such as partridge paté, baezana cod, carpaccio with bean sprouts, EVOO flan, stuffed piquillo peppers ... although it is not an inexpensive place.
