Huesa belongs to the Alto Guadalquivir region, it extends from the center of the region to the south of it, right on the provincial border with Granada. It is 137 km from the capital. The station is located at kilometer 82.7 of the Iberian gauge railway line Linares Baeza-Almería, between the Larva and Cabra del Santo Cristo-Alicún stations.
