The municipality of Higuera de Calatrava is located in the heart of the Guadalquivir basin. It is easy to deduce therefore that the aspect of its topography is smooth, with hilly shapes.
The highest point of the municipality corresponds to the geodesic vertex of Haza de la Sierra (479 m.), While the lowest point is about 350 m. in the bed of the Arroyo Salado, the main river course that crosses the term from South to North. The rest of streams are of little importance and of intermittent regime, tributaries in any case of the Salado.
