The religious, administrative and social center is the Plaza de Andalucía, of generous proportions and houses with arches and continuous balconies, which is accessed through an arch substitute for another of Gothic origin. This arch, which was the gateway to the medieval fortress of the old walled enclosure, was rebuilt in 1952 over the old medieval arch.
