Ruinas del Convento de San Francisco

San Francisco, 14º. 23440, Baeza

Conceived as a quadrangular space by the famous architect Andrés de Vandelvira, it was covered by a large crossed vault, of which only a reminder of its steel structure remains, a reform carried out at the end of the s. XX. The left side of the chapel and the low chapels of the bottom altar, on which the High Altar was built, are preserved. The rest of the Church is from the 17th century. It currently houses the Municipal Auditorium.
