Monument

Guarromán, Jaén. 23210, Guarromán How to get

This square, located on the main street of Guarromán, bears this name in honor of the first born in our town.

The sculpture in the center is dedicated to the settlers who arrived in 1767 and symbolizes the rebirth of the dreams that the first settlers had of achieving a better future in this land.

Dedicated to the first Guarromanense, that is, to the first son of settlers born in Guarromán. Nicolás was born on October 26, 1767 and currently the Sunday closest to this date is the Feast of the Settlers, in which a bell tolls eight times, once for each generation of Guarromanenses. It was remodeled in 2010.
