Plaza de la Constitución, 1. 23780, Lopera How to get

The Plaza de la Constitución gathers the three de facto powers in a span of land. Military power is represented by the castle-fortress of the Order of Calatrava, from the 13th century. In its parade ground, the two homage towers stand proudly: the Torre de Santa María and the Torre de San Miguel. The one of Santa María houses an oratory ordered to be built by Commander Juan Pacheco and today it is destined to house the Museum of the Spanish Civil War of the Battle of Lopera that was fought at Christmas 1936. It houses 3543 square meters of surface among its walls and 263 meters of perimeter.
