La Garza Sports Park

La Garza Sports Park is a public sports and recreational complex owned by the Andalusian Government, located 7 km from Linares and covering an area of 400,000 m2. It is located in a natural setting, surrounded by holm oaks and slender silhouettes of chimneys belonging to the old mining shafts. It offers excellent conditions for sports training and competition, while enjoying nature and outdoor recreational activities.

It has sports facilities such as a 9-hole golf course, a practice fairway with lighting and a putting green, three outdoor swimming pools, an artificial turf football pitch for the practice of 11 and 7-a-side football, two tennis courts, an indoor sports hall, a multisport court, an artificial turf court for indoor football, four paddle tennis courts, all with lighting, a climbing wall and an outdoor gymnastics circuit.
As a complement to the sports infrastructure it offers accommodation in eight fully equipped wooden cabins (four of them with kitchen and two bedrooms), classroom, picnic area, club house, bar-cafeteria and restaurant.
In addition, the La Garza Sports Park has sports facilities and equipment that allow the practice of non-conventional sports, such as golf, table tennis, badminton, archery, paintball, initiation to kayaking, climbing, orienteering, astro-tourism, hiking and mountain biking routes in the surroundings...
