The Museum of Contemporary Art Mayte Spínola de Marmolejo was created in 2004 with a donation from the artists belonging to the Grupo pro Arte y Cultura, led by Spínola, the Dukes of Lugo, Mrs. Ana de Orleáns and Carmen Thyssen were present at the inauguration -Bornemisza, among other personalities.
