Day of Our Lady of Purification, formerly a procession was held, but when the image of the Purification disappeared in the civil war and there was no brotherhood, it stopped being done. It was also a day when fires were lit, just like in San Antón or Santa Lucía. Long before, the custom of the monumental cake distributed by the town hall had been lost.

The most deeply rooted has been the presence of families in the church carrying wicker baskets decorated with rosemary and almond blossoms, in which the traditional Candelaria donuts are housed; For their part, the children carry these donuts, which are generally baked in the oven and made with flour, egg, sugar and toasted oil. At the conclusion of the celebration, those attending it raise the sweets for the priest to pass between the row of benches, blessing them.
