In a straight line with the lateral portal of the parish church, as if marking an axis of intimate communion, is the Fuente de la Negra, as it is usually named. Its popular significance far exceeds the value of its architectural semantics. Its community patrimonialization is underlined by the very fact that its current configuration was chosen by popular vote after submitting several models for consideration by the neighborhood.
Its forms are defined through a cubic volumetry, perfectly camouflaged by the arrangement of two twin spaces with three stylized gaps covered by small semicircular arches that emphasize as many jets of water and which, in turn, are separated by a hole larger arched dimensions, deeper in the structure of the building, which further enhances the perspective symmetry from the church. Inside, in a niche covered by a glass, made in the second half of the 20th century by María Isabel Sánchez Bonilla, a small image of the Virgin is venerated, about 8 meters high and classic iconography, between stones and crystalline waters that they reinforce the mystery character.
