These festivities have been celebrated since 1808 in honor of San Juan Bautista, Patron of the Jaén town of Navas de San Juan.
In the afternoon of June 24, the Patron Saint walks the streets of the town until he reaches the Plaza de Toros, to the beat of pasodobles, to go around the ring as a blessing and approval of the popular acts prepared in his honor, tradition that characterizes these parties.
Among the ludic events, "the running of the bulls" stand out, a custom celebrated since time immemorial, in which brave cattle are run through the streets of the town.
Both in the fairgrounds, with its verbena, fair attractions and mobile bars, as in the rest of the town's catering establishments, the joy and festive predisposition characteristic of the ships overflows these last days of June that mark the beginning of the summer.
