On the Castellón hill, the remains of an Iberian cyclopean fortress from between the 2nd and 1st centuries BC are preserved. It is a walled enclosure, with a quadrangular structure and a cistern inside, built with limestone ashlars that reach a meter and a half in length.
It consists of several rows of large stones, on which a mud wall would rise, today disappeared. Its mission was to monitor and control the communication channels.
