Located in a privileged place, in the "Collado de Los Jardines" before entering the Center you can enjoy in the surroundings of an authentic Quejigos forest of great ecological value.

Also close to the Iberian Sanctuary "Cueva de los Muñecos" where you can access it through a signposted path that begins at the doors of the Interpretation Center.
The Interpretation Center houses an exhibition area divided into 6 interpretive groups:

1.- The elements of the landscape
2.– Prehistory and Ancient Age
3.– The Middle Ages. The Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa
4.– The Modern Age. The new populations
5.- The Contemporary Age
6.– Audiovisual Room. Despeñaperros in time.

All these interpretive sets are made up of models, backlit informative supports, exhibition of real elements and replicas in showcases, settings and documentary projections.
