Castillo de Toya

23460, Peal de Becerro How to get

About five kilometers from Peal de Becerro, near the extraordinary Iberian sepulcher of Toya, an impressive tower stands tall as a historical landmark of Toya Castle. The tower dominates the hill, it has a square plan, it is topped and, as a consequence of the looting, it has lost carved stones. Inside there are half-barrel vaults that covered the rooms and, outside, the layout of the masonry is made of rope and brand and also shows a calicanto structure.

In 1985 it was declared a Site of Cultural Interest.
