In this necropolis he was buried in the 5th century BC. the impressive most important sculptural group of all Iberian culture and that today can be seen in the Museum of Jaén.

In the archaeological site and in its Visitor Center you will find the keys to understand this sculptural group and the meaning of death in the Iberian world. Cerrillo Blanco is a burial mound from the Tartessian period (7th century BC) with 24 individual graves in a pit and 1 megalithic in which two individuals were buried. Towards the s. V BC, an Iberian sculptural group that was intentionally destroyed was buried in trenches covered with large slabs. Both for the number of pieces (approximately 1400 fragments), and for its artistic quality, it is the most important of Iberian sculpture. This set tells us and tells the story of how a group of aristocrats became powerful and came to rule the important city of Obulco in Porcuna.

The visit to the site is completed with the Porcuna Museum which is located in the Boabdil Tower from the 15th century, in the historic center of the town. This museum has an important collection of Ibero-Roman sculptures.
