When Franco passed through Lopera in the 1950s, he ordered new houses to be demolished and built for his tenants in the Pradillo Guijoso neighborhood, finally only the front part of the first body was demolished. At present some are abandoned and others have been occupied by residents of Lopera, keeping firewood or charcoal inside.
