This mountain range houses the typical Mediterranean forest, with the rich and typical varied flora and fauna. Areas of steep rocky areas, others with typical river vegetation, and the characteristic mountainous area of Sierra Morena. Regarding its fauna, typical of Sierra Morena, we find many game species such as deer, wild boar, mouflon, fallow deer, foxes, rabbits, partridges, hares, pigeons, etc. Its flora is composed of scrubland and autochthonous Mediterranean forest of holm oaks, junipers, strawberry trees, wild olive trees, cork oaks, torviscos, gall oaks, rosemary, thyme, broom, mastic, cornicabra, brambles; large and extensive areas of rockrose, scrub, some coniferous areas, reduced presence of areas of pasture, fruit trees such as pomegranate, fig, quince, the typical oleanders, poplars, reeds, reed beds and other river vegetation.
