It is celebrated on the last Sunday of the month of May. During its celebration, the Virgin goes up to her hermitage, so that she can spend the summer there. Then, at the end of the summer, it has to be transported back to the town with another pilgrimage that takes place on the last Sunday in August, so that the Virgin remains in her church during the festival that takes place at the beginning of September.
