The Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, near the castle, is built on a slope in the ground and has magnificent stalls and remarkable façades. The oldest part, Gothic, are the head and the transept, with star-shaped vaults of terceletes. The three naves have Doric columns and Renaissance semicircular arches. Its tower, with a quadrangular plan, with four semicircular arches to locate the bells, becomes octagonal in the second body. Inside it preserves two magnificent pulpits from the 18th century and a baptismal font from the 16th.

Its covers are of simple structure but of great ornamental interest. The main one, from the 17th century, opens with a semicircular arch, between Ionic columns, geometrically decorated with rhombuses in the Mannerist style. In the center a niche houses a sculpture of the Immaculate Conception. It has two other facades, both with a semicircular arch, the north façade from 1570, with careful flameros at the ends of the cornice, which is attributed to Francisco del Castillo "el Mozo" and his brother Benito de el; and the south portal, dated 1620, with an oval shield, fins and pinnacle.
