The extensive and privileged list of animals in the natural park is one of its greatest claims, as it includes carnivores such as the Iberian Lynx, which has the largest population in the world here, or the Wolf, which has its main Andalusian stronghold among these mountains. Some specimen of the important Iberian Imperial Eagle population and other large birds of prey, such as the Royal Eagle or the Black Vulture, are easy to spot from the route of the Jabalí-Encinarejo trail.

At the end of the itinerary, the Encinarejo reservoir presents great attractions for the visitor, both for its natural wealth and for its landscape and for housing recreational areas for the recreation of users. A pleasant walk along the Jándula river, under the shade of its lush gallery forest, complete the possibilities of this environment.

From La Mirada you can see the Virgen de la Cabeza Sanctuary Basilica and El Cabezo hill, in addition to having privileged views of the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park and the passage of La Morenita in procession on the last Sunday of April.
