Program

The Renaissance castle of Canena is transformed every summer into the main stage of the “Villa de Canena” Music Festival, which takes place during the weekends of July and August. The event has given this Jaen town a visibility and an opportunity to promote tourism of the first level, not in vain it is held in one of the most important fortresses in Andalusia, erected by the Arabs on a Roman settlement, it was reformed in the century XVI by the prestigious architect Andrés de Vandelvira to turn it into a palace.
