The current hermitage of the patron saint of Noalejo, the Virgen de Belén, was built at the beginning of the 20th century over another that dated from the 17th century. It is made up of a rectangular nave with a small bell tower on its main façade that is occupied by three bells that were installed in its last remodeling.

The building has undergone several renovations throughout its history. As a curiosity, Queen Elizabeth II prayed in this hermitage when she went to Granada.
