Cooperativa Hortofrutícola San Marcos
Cooperativa Hortofrutícola San Marcos, in Torres, markets cherries from Sierra Mágina from a natural setting where spring further enhances the beauty of the landscape and the agricultural character of the municipality. Considered one of the most representative cherry cooperatives in Andalusia, it brings together 260 members and works with varieties such as Summit, Sunburst and Picota, valued for their juiciness, fleshiness and flavour. From Torres, one of the highest-altitude municipalities in the region, San Marcos maintains an activity closely linked to traditional cherry growing, careful product handling and a logistics strategy that allows this fruit to reach different parts of Spain at the best moment of the season.
