Limestone, tuff, abobe, wood, lime and Arabic tile are the materials with which La Tiná de Atrás was made in its day and which were later also used in its rehabilitation to achieve what is today the Alkaras Rural House .

Casa Alkaras has an older part where we wanted to respect its origins as much as possible during the rehabilitation and has a part of new construction, which are gradually integrated in a harmonious way. The restored part is rectangular with thick stone walls joined with exposed mortar. It has two heights and the room is open.

In the lower part is the dining room-kitchen and in the upper part, which is a loft, is the main bedroom and the house library. Each floor is 50 square meters. From the old part of the house there is access through a door to the part of new construction, where the distribution is as in a normal house. In it there are two more bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry room.

The new part has 72 square meters in total. Finally, the jewel of the house: El Patio. A charming stone patio, designed to be enjoyed with the privacy that you deserve. The patio is 35 square meters.
