This campsite is located in the heart of the Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, in the center of a wide valley crossed by the newly born Guadalquivir river just a few km further up.

A few meters from the campsite, on the other bank of the river, is the town of Coto Ríos, a district of Santiago de la Espada, which has important services, such as a Medical Dispensary, Fire Checkpoint, Parish Church and numerous food stores.

The campsite has dense trees of poplars and pines, mainly, which, together with its location on the left bank of the Guadalquivir river, makes the climate cool and pleasant. During the night the temperatures usually oscillate in summer between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius.
