The building has its origin in the San Ildefonso theater, built in 1864 by Ildefonso Sánchez y Cozar in the expansion zone of the city.

It is an ideal place for holding large-scale events as well as musical and theatrical shows, thanks to its double access through different entrances and the high technical endowment of the building.

A renovated Cervantes Theater stands as the artistic epicenter of the city, hosting flamenco evenings, theater nights or great concerts. Film competitions and large movie theaters attract, for their part, lovers of the seventh art.
