Visita a la almazara, degustación de aceites y cata maridada con productos Melgarejo

The experience is structured around three moments designed to discover extra virgin olive oil from its origin to its enjoyment at the table, combining knowledge, sensory analysis and local gastronomy in a complete proposal.

We begin with a presentation that introduces visitors to the history and trajectory of Aceites Melgarejo. In this first part, visitors learn about the philosophy of the olive mill and the care with which the olives are handled, from harvesting to their arrival at the factory. This moment helps visitors understand the importance of the raw material, the value of mountain olive groves and the company’s commitment to intense, aromatic oils with their own distinctive personality.

Next, we enter the factory to see first-hand the different stages of EVOO production. During the guided visit, visitors can follow the process from the milling of the fruit to its final storage, understanding how each stage influences the quality of the oil. This part of the tour reveals the most technical and fascinating side of production, showing how tradition, innovation and high standards come together in every harvest season.

To finish, the experience culminates with an oil tasting and sampling session accompanied by a pairing with Melgarejo products and local appetisers. This final stage allows visitors to better appreciate the aromas, flavours and nuances of EVOO, while enhancing the gastronomic experience with local products. It is a proposal designed to be enjoyed through taste and smell, and to remember olive oil not only as a food, but as an essential part of the culture of the territory.
