The experience is structured around three carefully designed moments to discover extra virgin olive oil from its origin to its final expression on the palate, in the heart of Sierra Mágina.

We begin with an introduction to the history and essence of Aceites Melgarejo, a family-run company deeply connected to the territory. In this first contact, visitors understand the value of the olive grove and the care of the fruit from the field. In the olive mill courtyard, the process of harvesting and receiving the olives is explained, with quality highlighted as the starting point.

Next, we enter the heart of the olive mill, where tradition and innovation coexist. The tour allows visitors to discover all the stages of olive oil production — milling, malaxation, extraction, bottling and preservation — understanding how each decision influences the final result. It is here that the oil begins to reveal its character, linked to the landscape of olive groves that dominates the surroundings.

The experience culminates with a guided tasting and sampling, a sensory moment where visitors learn to identify green aromas, herbaceous notes and the balance between bitterness and pungency typical of great extra virgin olive oils. Visitors thus discover the basic keys of sensory analysis, connecting flavour and territory in each sample.

Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
