Ganadero/a por un día: el origen del queso artesanal
The experience unfolds as a close and participatory journey through the heart of a livestock farm in Sierra Mágina, where each moment connects visitors with the true origin of what they consume.
We begin with an introduction to the surroundings and the philosophy of Explotación Ganadera Marín – El Sueño de la Dehesa. Here, the traditional herd management model is presented, along with the importance of animal welfare as the foundation of the entire process. Visitors discover how the land, the climate and daily care directly influence the quality of the final product.
Next, we enter the day-to-day life of the livestock farm. We tour the facilities while the essential tasks are explained: feeding, animal care and herd management. This moment allows visitors to understand, from the inside, the link between livestock farming and artisan production, in a setting where tradition and practical knowledge continue to set the pace.
To finish, the experience culminates with a guided tasting of artisan cheese. Through its flavours, aromas and textures, the dehesa landscape is interpreted and visitors learn to appreciate a product that comes directly from the land. A simple and authentic way to understand gastronomy from its origin.
