Immerse yourself in the essence of organic olive groves at Agropecuaria El Puerto SL / Aceites La Casona, a small family-run company located in the heart of Sierra Mágina, in the province of Jaén. On its 50-hectare mountain olive grove estate, La Casona produces top-quality organic extra virgin olive oil, standing out for its sustainable model based on the circular economy. This process focuses on regenerating the soil and making the most of resources, which has earned them the Soil Olive Award.

Oleotourism Experience

The experience begins with a guided visit to the olive grove and olive mill, where you will learn about the entire production process of premium extra virgin olive oil, from the harvesting of the olives to bottling, using exclusively mechanical methods. The visit ends with a guided tasting of EVOOs, where you will learn to identify the qualities that distinguish an authentic extra virgin olive oil.

• Booking: reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
• Duration: approximately 2 hours.
• Price: €10 per person, with a minimum fee of €40 per group.
• Availability: visits can be carried out all year round, except in October and November due to the olive harvesting season.
• Language: Spanish, with the possibility of basic English and French.
• Recommendations: suitable clothing and footwear for walking in the countryside, depending on the season. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended to reach the estate or, alternatively, pick-up can be arranged in Pegalajar or Mancha Real.
