Aprende a hacer recetas típicas

The experience is structured as a complete journey to the origins of olive oil, where tradition, landscape and gastronomy come together to be enjoyed through all the senses.

We begin at Cortijo Las Huertas, a place full of history where visitors discover the origins of olive oil. Among walls that preserve the essence of a centuries-old olive mill, we learn about ancient milling systems and understand how olive grove culture has shaped this territory.

Next, the route moves on to the modern olive mill, where tradition meets innovation. Here, the complete production process of extra virgin olive oil is revealed, from the arrival of the olives to their transformation into a product of the highest quality, including the cellar and bottling plant.

The experience continues in direct contact with the land. Depending on the season, visitors take part in harvesting products from the organic vegetable garden and discover the fresh flavours that come from the surroundings, reinforcing the link between landscape and gastronomy.

To finish, the most participatory moment arrives: cooking. In the AOVELab space, participants prepare a typical Andalusian recipe, using EVOO as the main ingredient. A way to learn, experiment and savour the essence of the Mediterranean from within.
