The trail runs parallel to the upper part of the Cañamares river. Right at the start of the hike you’ll pass through Los Tiscares, a group of farmhouses built in the traditional style. The sound of water accompanies you all along the itinerary, owing to the fact that the Cañamares river holds water all year round and flows through a deep valley between steep slopes.
