Although the main body is Gothic, the tower has Renaissance finishes, as well as the main portal and the extension developed in the first half of the 18th century from the transept.

It houses a grandiose altarpiece, the work of Francisco Palma Burgos. Also noteworthy are the pulpit, the choir and the baptismal font from the mid-18th century. But its most important elements is the Tabernacle, one of the jewels of sacred art in the province of Jaén, dating from the 17th century, built in ebony, ivory, silver and tortoiseshell wood, and composed of a temple with a baroque dome framed by four shell columns with capitals and silver bases
