San Sebastián, patron saint of Vilches is celebrated on January 20. Here in Vilches it is not one of the most popular parties. There is a procession that starts from the Hermitage of San Sebastián, located on the slopes of Cerro de La Virgen, going through some streets of the old town, going up to the Barrio del Cerrillo and returning again to its charming chapel. Later, in the Plaza Mayor, crumbs are made, sausages, black pudding and bacon are roasted.
