Hinojares is characterized by being located in a privileged environment. in the Sierra de Cazorla and next to the Altiplano of Granada, so the range of possibilities in terms of places of interest is wide and varied. Its great contrast of landscapes is surprising: high mountains in the Cumbres de la Sierra del Pozo, water and bathing areas such as the Bolera reservoir, Cueva del Agua, Río Guadalentín, Arroyo Guazalamanco, Castril with its river and reservoir, desert around from the Valley of the Guadiana Menor River, impressive natural viewpoints in Lirio, Peña de Quesada, El Escalón. Some of these destinations within 10 minutes and all within half an hour. Other destinations within 1 hour such as the monumental cities of Úbeda, Baeza and Jaén, Granada, the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada, and the Archaeological remains in Orce and Galera.

Through our Active Tourism company Avatur, many of these places can be enjoyed by doing different activities such as quad routes, canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking, 4x4 excursions, zip line, rappelling, archery, hiking.
