Almazara de Bornos – Mata Bejid, in Cambil, develops an olive-growing project deeply connected to the landscape of Sierra Mágina and to the tradition of mountain Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Surrounded by olive groves and mountain ranges, the olive mill works with the Picual variety, paying special attention to fruit quality and early harvesting in order to preserve the full aromatic intensity and natural character of each harvest. The surroundings of Mata Bejid and the experience accumulated in caring for the oil are an essential part of a philosophy based on respect for the territory and for olive-growing culture.

Through its different ranges, from “Primer Día de Cosecha” to the “Reserva Premium” and “Reserva de Familia” selections, the olive mill maintains low-temperature extraction processes to preserve the nuances, aromas and healthy properties of the oil. Each creation reflects a way of understanding EVOO in which tradition, precision and balance come together to offer oils with their own personality, closely linked to the authenticity and landscape of Sierra Mágina.
