Sueña y viaja al pasado
Some experiences are not only visited, but lived slowly. At Cortijo Las Huertas, oleotourism becomes a leisurely journey where time seems to stand still among centuries-old olive trees and landscapes that invite visitors to reconnect with what truly matters.
The experience begins with an introduction to the world of EVOO, bringing visitors closer to olive grove culture and its deep connection with the territory. The route continues in a 1941 hydraulic mill, where visitors discover how oil was made in the past, before moving on to the modern olive mill to understand the current process, from milling to bottling.
Beyond the technical side, the proposal invites visitors to step outside and walk among historic olive groves, interpreting the landscape: the agricultural cycle, traditional tasks and the natural richness that surrounds each tree. It is here that the experience takes on a more intimate rhythm, in direct contact with the land.
The highlight comes with a picnic under the shade of olive trees more than 300 years old. A moment of rest where flavour takes centre stage through typical Andalusian products, always accompanied by the finest extra virgin olive oil. A way to savour the territory from within, without rushing.
